Online card processing (Online banking)

In order to meet increased security requirements for card payments, Cale offers online authorisation of payment card transactions, thereby improving overall security and decreasing the risk of fraud. Cale’s online card processing solution is compliant with PCI DSS Level 1 at all stages, from the terminal to the acquirer.

The PCI standard stipulates requirements for the storage and processing of card transactions, as well as information regarding the handling of visitors and access routines at the location where the transactions are processed. It also regulates how sensitive information must be sent in e-mails, how computer passwords should be handled, etc. When using this card authorisation service from Cale, you can rest assured that all of the PCI requirements described above are being complied with.

Accepted cards

Card acceptance may vary depending on the market and processor. The following cards are commonly accepted: VISA, MasterCard, Diners, American Express.

In certain markets, local cards, such as fleet cards, may also be accepted.

What is required?

The terminal must be connected to Cale WebOffice, and the customer must have agreements with a processor and with an acquirer, both of which must be approved by Cale.

If EMV is a requirement for your market, please read more about our EMV solutions by clicking on the heading "EMV" in the menu on the left.
What is PCI DSS?
PCI DSS is a standard created by VISA and MasterCard for the secure processing of card transactions. PCI DSS stands for Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, and is an internationally accepted standard that all companies handling credit card transactions must comply with.
